Some reasons that this could be happening:
1. By the end of a day's use, the battery within the solar panel is depleted, leading to insufficient power to activate the infrared light.
If you are using the solar panel on its own, you must use 4 alkaline batteries in the camera, as the solar panel output is either 6V output or 0V. The solar panel has no other voltage output, nor will it say if it is on a low voltage. Therefore, it is recommended that customers use alkaline batteries at the same time when using the solar panels, to prevent the trail camera from not working due to insufficient power. The inside of the solar panel contains a 1700MAH battery. If it is used while charging, it will run out of electricity when it is used throughout the day (the maximum charging current is 300MA when the sun is strongest, and it is roughly 250MA when recording).
2. The memory card that you are using must be a high-speed card above C6 and must be formatted in the camera.
3. The camera will work when you have the button switched to the ‘on’ position, but it will not work when you have the button in the ‘test’ mode.
4. Try increasing the sensitivity setting on your camera. Under the sensitivity motion sensors option set it to ‘high’.
