A screeching sound generally indicates a blocked or kinked hose. To fix this:
1. Straighten the hose completely.
2. Set both the wind speed and temperature dials to low.
3. Turn on the heat switch.
4. Gradually increase the wind and temperature settings.
The screeching noise should stop within a few seconds as air begins flowing freely.
