What type of SD card does the trail camera use?
The trail camera requires a Class 6 or higher micro SD card. For optimal performance, a Class 10 micro SD card is recommended.
• Only micro SD cards are compatible – full-sized SD cards will not fit.
• Maximum capacity supported: 32GB
• Cards over 32GB are not supported
Why is night vision not working even though the camera works during the day?
Night vision may fail for the following reasons:
1. Power supply issues:
◦ If using a solar panel, insert at least 4 x 1.5V alkaline AA batteries in the camera to power the infrared (IR) lights.
◦ Do not use rechargeable or carbon-zinc batteries, as they may supply insufficient voltage.
2. Incorrect SD card: Ensure a high-speed Class 6+ micro SD card is properly formatted in the camera.
3. Camera mode: The camera must be switched to ON (work mode). It will not record at night in TEST mode.
4. Sensitivity settings: Set motion sensitivity to High via the camera menu for improved IR triggering.
Will the camera overwrite old footage when the SD card is full?
Yes. The camera features Endless Capture (loop recording), which automatically overwrites the oldest files once storage is full.
Can the camera take photos and videos at the same time?
Yes. In TEST mode, you can configure the camera to capture both photos and videos simultaneously. Once set, it will operate in this mode when switched to ON.
How do I switch between photo and video modes?
Two methods:
1. In TEST mode:
◦ Press UP for video mode
◦ Press DOWN for photo mode
◦ The active mode appears in the top-left of the screen
2. In ON mode:
◦ The camera automatically follows the mode last set in TEST mode
What do the red, blue, and green indicator lights mean?
• Red Light (ON mode): Flashes for 15 seconds when first activated, indicating the system is starting.
• Blue Light (TEST mode): Flashes when side PIR sensors detect movement.
• Green Light (TEST mode): Flashes when the main PIR sensor detects movement.
Note: The blue and green lights are disabled in ON mode.

Why is the motion sensor only detecting movement at close range?
Detection range can be affected by:

How do I turn off Time Lapse mode?
1. Insert batteries and a formatted micro SD card.
2. Switch to SETUP mode and press MENU.
3. Set Interval to 30 seconds.
4. Set Timer and Time Lapse options to OFF.
5. Switch to ON mode for motion-activated recording only.
Why is there a white haze in night-time footage?
This occurs when objects are outside the infrared range. Move the camera closer or adjust its angle to keep subjects within effective range.
Why is the camera recording when nothing is visibly moving?
This is often caused by:
• Vegetation moving in the wind
• Hot air currents or extreme heat (e.g. above 44°C) triggering false positives on the PIR sensor
