Important: Wait 1–2 minutes after use before touching the tip to allow the voltage to safely dissipate.
Where should the prodder be placed on the animal for best results?
For effective and humane use, apply the prodder to the rear flank or upper hind leg of the animal. Avoid sensitive areas such as the face, genitals, or lower legs.
How long does the battery take to charge?
A full recharge from flat takes approximately 3 to 5 hours. Ensure the unit is switched off while charging for optimal results.
How can I tell when the prodder is fully charged?
The charger indicator light will turn green when charging is complete. Unplug the unit once fully charged to preserve battery life.
How do I know when the prodder needs recharging?
A flashing red LED light indicates the battery is low and needs to be recharged before further use.
Can I use this cattle prodder on sheep?
No. This 9000V cattle prodder is not suitable for sheep, as they are more sensitive and prone to stress or injury at this voltage level. For sheep handling, use a low-voltage handheld prodder specifically designed for smaller livestock.
