Why does the cattle prodder still work briefly after being switched off?
This is a normal safety behaviour caused by residual offset voltage following recent use. The charge may briefly activate the metal release tip even when the unit is off.
Important: Wait 1–2 minutes after use before touching the tip to allow the voltage to safely dissipate.
Where should the prodder be placed on the animal for best results?
For effective and humane use, apply the prodder to the rear flank or upper hind leg of the animal. Avoid sensitive areas such as the face, genitals, or lower legs.
How long does the battery take to charge?
A full recharge from flat takes approximately 3 to 5 hours. Ensure the unit is switched off while charging for optimal results.
How can I tell when the prodder is fully charged?
The charger indicator light will turn green when charging is complete. Unplug the unit once fully charged to preserve battery life.
How do I know when the prodder needs recharging?
A flashing red LED light indicates the battery is low and needs to be recharged before further use.
Can I use this cattle prodder on sheep?
No. This 9000V cattle prodder is not suitable for sheep, as they are more sensitive and prone to stress or injury at this voltage level. For sheep handling, use a low-voltage handheld prodder specifically designed for smaller livestock.

I love this dryer it’s easy to clean and gets the dogs dry in half the time as my old dryer
Great machine quite powerful great for the price as well.
Handy to carry in bag or pocket was purchased based on website promotion that it can be used to deter aggressive or attacking dogs (living in a rural area where wild dogs can be a problem) but have not yet had to use it.
The trainer works well for both the border limits and for behavior control.

This 48 km solar fence energiser is the second one I have bought.
I found the first one so useful that I ordered another for the other end of my property. That way, I can electrify two areas independently, without having to run connecting wires between them, or worry about whether switches are on or off..

Good value works as it should
Fantastic little unit - easy & safe to operate ensuring you feel comfortable whilst working.
We moved to a new larger property with our 3 huskies who have always been contained behind 7 foot high, reinforced fencing and even that sometimes wasn't enough. So a move to a new property with farm fencing was a major concern. We tried this system and have not looked back. All 3 are now aware of the "no go zone" and so far so good (even with horses, other dogs and rabbits all around!)
This electrifier is a fantastic unit, I've now got two, one is on a three strand fence and the other on two, both are putting out good voltage and amps which works well, it's still very important to have a good quality earth stake tho. This company is only let down by the courier companies who do now treat packages well. More robust packaging would be appreciated.
