Experience the difference with our versatile Machine Lubricating Oil, specifically formulated for all Pet & Livestock HQ electric hair clippers and shearers. Ideal for dogs, livestock, and even human hair clippers, this premium oil ensures smooth operation across all brands, maintaining your clippers at peak performance
- Prevents Rust and Corrosion: Regular use of the lubricating oil helps to prevent rust and corrosion on both your clipper and blades. This can significantly extend the life of your electronic clippers.
- Reduces Friction and Heat: Unlubricated blades can generate friction and heat, which can cause the blades to become dull. The lubricating oil helps reduce this friction and heat, maintaining the sharpness of the blades.
- Keeps Clippers Operating Smoothly: By lubricating all moving parts of your shearing handpiece, you can ensure that the clippers operate effectively and smoothly.
- Extend Blade Life: It's advised to always oil your handpiece before storing it away after shearing. This will protect the blades and prepare them for the next use.
- Easy Maintenance: Simply place a few drops of the Pet & Livestock HQ oil between your blades every few haircuts, shearing, and clipping tasks.
- Safe and User-Friendly: The oil is safe to use, colorless, and odorless, making it easy and convenient to maintain your clippers.

Frequently Asked Questions
My sheep shears stopped working. What should I do?
If the shears stop working, check the following:
• Carbon brushes: Ensure they are sitting flush against the motor.
• Worn brushes: Replace them using the spare set included in your kit.
• Missing brush: If a brush has fallen out, the sealing cap may have loosened. Tighten the cap securely and insert a new carbon brush.
I’m new to shearing. Do you have any tips?
Certainly. Follow these guidelines for safer, more effective shearing:
Preparation:
• Make sure your sheep are clean and completely dry to prevent blade damage and ensure clean cuts.
• Position the sheep in the traditional sitting position, resting on its rump with the back leaning gently against your legs for control.
Recommended Shearing Pattern:
1. Start with the belly wool, as it’s usually the dirtiest.
2. Move to the inside of the hind legs, then up to the chest.
3. Shear the sides and back using long, even strokes. Avoid second cuts to maintain fleece quality.
4. Finish with the head and legs, ensuring even removal.
Technique Tips:
• Use your free hand to stretch the skin taut as you shear. This improves glide and reduces the risk of nicks or injury.
• Oil the blades regularly, before and during shearing, to keep them running efficiently and cool.
• Take short breaks during long sessions to prevent the shears from overheating.
How do I clean and maintain the clippers?
Routine maintenance ensures your shears last longer and perform better:
• Remove wool and debris from the blades after each use using a soft brush.
• Oil the blades after each session to prevent rust and maintain cutting sharpness.
• Inspect the carbon brushes regularly and replace them when worn.
• Store in a dry, dust-free environment, ideally in a protective case or pouch.
Why are my clippers overheating?
Several factors may cause overheating:
• Dull or dirty blades: Clean and oil frequently to reduce friction.
• Prolonged operation: Allow the shears to cool during extended use.
• Worn motor components: Check and replace the carbon brushes or motor parts as needed.
• Blocked ventilation: Ensure air vents are clear of wool or debris for optimal airflow.
How often should I oil the blades?
• Before and after each use
• Every 10–15 minutes during long shearing sessions
Regular oiling helps prevent overheating, extends blade life, and keeps cutting performance sharp.
How should I store the clippers properly?
• Clean and oil the blades before storing to prevent corrosion.
• Place them in a protective storage case or pouch.
• Store in a dry, cool location away from moisture and dust to avoid motor damage.

I love this dryer it’s easy to clean and gets the dogs dry in half the time as my old dryer
Great machine quite powerful great for the price as well.
Handy to carry in bag or pocket was purchased based on website promotion that it can be used to deter aggressive or attacking dogs (living in a rural area where wild dogs can be a problem) but have not yet had to use it.
The trainer works well for both the border limits and for behavior control.
Very easy to deal with. Would definitely use again.
all good
👌
Nice size & compact, perfect for what we need.
Thanks to the team for prompt delivery 👍
This 48 km solar fence energiser is the second one I have bought.
I found the first one so useful that I ordered another for the other end of my property. That way, I can electrify two areas independently, without having to run connecting wires between them, or worry about whether switches are on or off..
G'day guys, I'm really very happy with both purchases, the prodder is great & it's holster is very well designed, service was great, postage was very quick & the company was fantastic to deal with 10 out of 10, I'll be back for more purchases very soon. Many thanks guys.
Great device to keep in the car to control the cows lurking the streets!
Good value works as it should
Fantastic little unit - easy & safe to operate ensuring you feel comfortable whilst working.
We moved to a new larger property with our 3 huskies who have always been contained behind 7 foot high, reinforced fencing and even that sometimes wasn't enough. So a move to a new property with farm fencing was a major concern. We tried this system and have not looked back. All 3 are now aware of the "no go zone" and so far so good (even with horses, other dogs and rabbits all around!)
This electrifier is a fantastic unit, I've now got two, one is on a three strand fence and the other on two, both are putting out good voltage and amps which works well, it's still very important to have a good quality earth stake tho. This company is only let down by the courier companies who do now treat packages well. More robust packaging would be appreciated.
